Christians have stayed silent for decades. They are silent in politics, in the church, in the family. They are silent about spiritual warfare, demons, the world, sin, who God is, missionaries, and spreading the gospel.
Most churches are silent about most topics Christians need to give their life to God. Like how to to worship, repent, share the gospel, and fight spiritually.
The Modern Church Has Failed Christians
Christians are living lukewarm lives and are falling away because God isn’t this genie they were led to believe. They are not filled with happiness and things aren’t perfect like they were promised.
The modern church has promised peace, joy, love, and that everything will be a-okay.
And while Christians can find peace, joy, and love, it doesn’t just happen instantly you decide to become a Christian. This is one of the many reasons Christians are backsliding and falling away.
The church promises you’ll be new, but it’s okay if you still sin because you’re saved. The church tells people in a roundabout way that things of this world are okay because we are saved.
Dying To Ourselves and Living In Faith
When we turn to God and give our lives to Him and die to ourselves, we can be reborn and new. We are no longer God’s enemy or a child of wrath, BUT, this happy feel good stuff being taught is a huge disservice to believers.
In fact, when we are saved our lives will get harder. You are called to live by faith and put God above all else. That means our family, our friends, our jobs, and materials. We have God’s laws (10 commandments) summed up by 2 laws, and let me tell you those can be hard to follow. We will be mocked, persecuted, tortured, and killed. God will also put us through the fire to make us stronger.
Not to mention that we are struggling with our flesh! We will be lonely and abused in this world and you can’t forget the spiritual warfare that goes on constantly.
Our Fight Is Not With Flesh and Blood
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
There are so many “Christians” who don’t even know the 10 commandments. Who live in unbelief and are too scared to share the word. They live in and for this world, ignore God’s commandments, who do not have good fruits, and they twist God’s word to fit their beliefs.
They Are Like Seeds Sown…
Matthew 13:1-8
The same day, Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside.
2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto Him, so that He went into a boat and sat, and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
3 And He spoke many things unto them in parables, saying, “Behold, a sower went forth to sow.
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside; and the fowls came and devoured them up.
5 Some fell upon stony places where they had not much earth; and forthwith they sprang up, because they had no deepness of earth.
6 And when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
8 But others fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
Living Like The Pharisees
Most people in the church today are like the Pharisees, hypocrites who enjoy the appearance of being just and godly people rather than being godly people.
Don’t get me wrong, we are all hypocrites and sinners, all of us. But, like the Pharisees, Christians are harshly judging and are being self-righteous. They are sinning and then brow beating others committing the same sin.
We are to judge. Judge not lest ye be judged is often abused. People don’t want to be told they’re doing wrong.
Judging To Help and Forsaking Evil
Matthew 7:1-5
Judge not, that ye be judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
What that verse was saying is, judge as you want to be judged and help your brother in sister in Christ with their sins. We are to fellowship and help one another.
Progressive Christianity Is Failing People
This progressive Christianity is keeping people away from God. The church is on the hot mess express. We have failed Christians and non-believers alike.
God’s wrath IS real and it is coming. Hell is real and people are dying in their sins and that should break your heart. Persecution around the world is spreading and is here on a smaller scale. However, it will get worse and many Christians are not strong enough to stand in their faith. That should scare you.
Why are we silent? Why are we scared? Why are we accepting evil because we’re scared to speak up against sin? Because we are ignorant and still living in this world. Because wolves in sheep’s clothing have entered the church and are leading people astray.
It’s Time To Wake Up and Life For God
It’s time to wake up and to start ministering, speaking up, and discipling. It is time to start fellowships, home churches. The body of Christ is the church. A building isn’t a church. There are people worshipping in caves and fields for hours a day.
We in America have missed the mark.
The world is evil. Revelations is unfolding before our eyes. Some claim that people have been saying that for centuries and they’re right, but read Revelations. Read the prophets and open your eyes, pray for wisdom.
It will be hard, but it will open your eyes to really what is going on and understanding the rampant evil, the spiritual warfare, and the wrath that is coming. Put your politics and biases aside and really focus on God and you’ll be surprised how your eyes are opened to the spiritual war going on. I was.
When we sin we build up God’s wrath. Salvation is the answer and the way to avoid God’s wrath. Jesus was the ultimate blood sacrifice. We have to love God and love others as ourselves.
If we love God enough to give Him our lives, if we love ourselves enough to seek spiritual salvation, then we should love God and people enough to teach God’s laws and love. To teach about sacrifice, sins, and lead others who are lost to Him.
These bodies are temporary and our stuff is temporary, however, hell and heaven are eternal.
