This Christmas cookie board will be a hit whether you’re hanging out with your family or at a Christmas party.

Christmas Cookie Charcuterie Board

We don’t really do Christmas in my household. Rather, we focus on Jesus, His birth, and life rather than presents and Christmas trees. However, we are all about cookies! I mean who isn’t? While we try to be good when it comes to sugar, December is just our month of sweets.

Which is why I was so excited to make this delicious Christmas Cookie Charcuterie Board.

What Is A Christmas Cookie Board?

A Christmas charcuterie board is literally a platter of Christmas cookies. Most charcuterie boards have meat, cheese, crackers, and fruit. This one is focused on dessert with fun Christmas cookie recipes with a variety so that there is something for everyone! Whether you’re at home and enjoying a holiday cookie board with your family, looking for a Christmas Eve charcuterie board, or entertaining guests at a holiday party, these festive treats are perfect for people to munch on!

Bake cookies or use store bought cookies, doesn’t matter! It will still be delicious!

Supplies Needed To Make A Christmas Cookie Charcuterie Board

You can use all your favorite cookies may they be homemade or store bought. All of my cookies are homemade.

How To Build A Christmas Cookie Board

Step 1

Bake all your cookies or open your cookie packages and have them ready.

Step 2

Lay out your wooden cutting board or charcuterie board.

Step 3

Begin laying out your cookies.

  • I laid out the chocolate chip cookies first in the left corner.
  • Then prop the gingerbread cookies against the chocolate chip cookies.
  • I then put a stack of snowball cookies in the corner.
  • The sugar cookies are propped up by the snowball cookies.
  • I put the chocolate covered pretzels sit in the right corner.
  • With the chocolate covered wafer cookies are in the middle of the bottom of the board.
  • The almond cherry cookies are in the right hand corner. (I ran out of room unfortunately, but they still got eaten.)

What Is The Best Christmas Charcuterie Board?

There isn’t a good answer for this unfortunately as there are so many great ideas! From savory to dessert you can find all your favorites. Since I can’t have dairy, I’ve become rather fond of dessert boards. Which is why this cookie board is currently my favorite.

If you ever need entertaining ideas, then make this for party desserts. You can add chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, shortbread, macarons, biscotti, no-make cookies.

And you can add other decorative elements like nuts and dried fruits and even cakes and pastries. Mixing textures and making a colorful presentation makes this the most perfect celebration platter!
