Before We Learn How To Fold Clothes

A couple things. My examples are wrinkly. I folded these right off the rack. If your clothes are wrinkled when you fold them, they’re gonna stay wrinkle. So I suggest folding them as soon as they’re done in the dryer or be prepared to iron them when you need them (or throw them for a quick run in the dryer, but that’s not really energy efficient.)

Supplies Needed To Fold Clothes

  • Clean clothes
  • Flat surface
  • Optional: Basket or bin to carry clothes to drawers

Why Learning How To Fold Clothes Is An Important Skill

I hate folding clothes. I won’t lie. I’m disappointed that it’s we are in an era of technology and we have life saving technology, sketchy A.I, but we can’t have a self folder?! It’s fine. But in all seriousness, this is a skill that is important to know.

Not only will it keep your clothes from being a wrinkled mess if you do it right away when your clothes are done in the dryer, but it’ll save quite a bit of space in your drawers. It’ll also save time. You won’t be digging through baskets, the drier, piles, or chaotic drawers and then have to spend time either ironing or throwing clothes in the dryer again wasting energy. Which is good especially if you’re running late.
