Homemaking For God

Adventures of Biblical Homemaking and Drawing Closer to God.

Stop living in fear, brothers and sisters. Fear is a tool of the enemy and so many people have fallen trap to it over the last couple of years. You are forsaking what we are taught in the Bible for fear and manipulation, and it’s time to live differently.

How and why we should stop living in fear and start living in faith

Stop Living For The World and In Fear

We all face fear in our daily lives. Some people more than others. Fear is the disbelief and doubt sown into us by the enemy telling us our God isn’t big enough to handle the situations at hand.

You know what this pandemic, what politics, what everything these last couple of years have taught me? That so many Christians don’t believe in how powerful God truly is. That people are so rooted to this world, so jaded, so willing to conform that they’re willing to give up their faith, manipulate scripture, and be cowards rather than face the troubles head on.

I’m not perfect, I’ve been scared, I’ve faltered, so I know how hard it can be. It took a lot of time, prayer, and listening to God to get me this far. I’ve cast off a lot of fear and anxieties, and I’m not immune, I still get too scared sometimes.

Do Not Let Fear Make You Jaded and Conform To This World

But y’all, I say this out of love, this fear has to stop. It is breeding hatefulness and is allowing people to become jaded, bitter, hateful, and grow rotten fruits.

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Illness is scary, death is scary, inflation, job loss, all of it is scary. But the Bible talks about these days and what’s happening and how we should be reacting.

Now Isn’t The Time For Fear, But For The Word of God and Joy

A woman lifting her hands to worship God as the sun shines on her, living in joy and faith and God rather than letting fear dictate and corrupt her life.
Live in God and joy and love rather than letting fear dictate your life and corrupt your heart and spirit.

Now isn’t the time to hunt down those who may or may not be vaccinated or have different opinions and beliefs, condemn people because they’re different, humiliate and ruin lives, and be cold and cruel. This is the time where love, joy, and most importantly God’s word needs to be shared!

Covid, politics, money, materials, jobs, all of this is temporary! Have you gotten so comfortable in this material world that you forgot what God told us. The worst part is so many people don’t see it, and whether they’re unintentionally being obtuse or purposely, is because they don’t have their eyes focused on God.

It makes me think of John 12:40

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

And while Jesus was talking of the Pharisees, it makes me think of today. People are so focused on fear and comfort that they can’t see the plans of the Satan unfolding around them.

God Did Not Create Us To Be Fearful

Y’all, God did not make us fearful.

2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Jesus Wasn’t Afraid

A man carrying his cross against a red sunset with birds in the sky reminding us to pick up our cross and love like Jesus did. Not be hateful and fearful
Jesus loved all His neighbors and that includes the ones He didn’t agree with. He wasn’t afraid of them or their choices, He taught, never condemned, and loved.

I’ve been hearing so much lately, Jesus would do this, Jesus would do that. So much scripture being constantly twisted for political gain.

Jesus put hands and healed the ill including incurable diseases at the time. Jesus cast out demons, walked on water, calmed storms, fed 5000 out of very little. Jesus loved despite people betraying Him and torturing Him.

I know what my Jesus can do, but do you? Do you really? Jesus addressed fear.

Do Not Be Anxious

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”

Life is more than getting sick, money, politics, sexuality, all the twisted things the world worship.

Fear Is Based On The Belief God Isn’t Enough

Life is hard, and beautiful, and with God at the head of your life, it can joyous and peaceful even in the  darkest of times. God is so strong, and so many treat Him as this wishy washy weak God.

He made this world, this universe, you, and me. Our God is a warrior God, a healer, a God who has overcome death. A God who wants to be desired and loved by you, a just God. A God that cannot be manipulated or changed. He IS a healer, He IS our protector.

And no matter how much you cower, argue, get shots, gain power, no matter how much money you make, how much medicine you take, His will be done.

If it is your time, it is your time. Keep that in mind. God will keep you until your purpose is finished. Whether or not you finish that purpose is up to you.

But once that time comes and you’re standing before Him one of two things will happen. Either Christ will know you for accepting in and having that intimate relationship with Him  and you will be saved and be part of God’s eternal kingdom, or will be hell bound.

I’m not saying being afraid will send you to hell. I’m saying if you’re not right with God and luke warm and putting off getting saved and living the way God tells us to and building that intimate relationship with him, the end result isn’t good for you.

God doesn’t send us to hell, we send ourselves. We make that choice. Hell was for the angels that fell, not for us, but when we side with the enemy, we are walking in those gates. It’s not a joke despite laughing at it.

Living A Life Of Strength, Joy, Peace, Love, Not Fear

And if you are a Christian and are saved and you’re living a fearful, jaded, life full of progressive Christianity being ran by the enemy and politics sexuality or whatever else the world worships…let me tell you, you are leading people astray.

Words only go so far when teaching about Christ. Did you know more and more people are stepping away from Christianity, but the amount of people willing to believe in something more is going up?

The way you act is the way people will see Christians, and I’m guilty of not always being the greatest too. But if you’re living in fear, you are showing others that your God doesn’t have you. That your God isn’t strong enough to help you overcome this. And they will think God isn’t loving and strong enough for them.

Again, I’ve failed, and I’m trying my best as well, but I’ve been quiet for far too long. Too many of us have, and now false teachers and wicked spirits are leading the church in so many cases.

How Do I Live A Life Without Fear?

A cup with a bright pink flower in it showing that if you believe God is enough that you too can blood brightly.
You can be at piece and bloom brightly too by having faith that God is enough. That He is more powerful than anything you may face in this world.

Stop living in fear. Easier said than done right? It’s hard, but our God IS strong enough to heal and help us. He is the leader of an angelic army that is mightier than the enemy in every way. This fight has already been won. Want to know how to stop living in fear? Than understand your worth, you are so precious and fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

Matthew 6:25-34

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Step To Take To Live Without Fear

Believe that God is enough. Pray like He is a big God and not a weak God. Get on your knees and pray. Read your Bible and live by His commandments and expectations. Love, and that includes those you don’t like or agree with. Praise and share His name.

You are important and God will take care of you. Accept His love, accept His protection, accept His healing, accept Jesus as your Savior.

Keep in mind accepting these wonderful things God gives will give you peace and help you find joy, but that isn’t happiness and that doesn’t mean you won’t suffer. Happiness is fleeting and suffering makes us stronger, but in this suffering God will make you stronger.

God will never forsake you.

I love y’all and so does God. Let’s rise up and start living for God again and stop living in fear.
