My mother used to say “If you can make good gravy you can make anything.” She said gravy can be tricky so if you can make that you can make anything. I always loved that saying, but you should really consider learning to cook the very basics.

You don’t start off making soufflés and a beef wellington. Rather, you learn to make basic breakfast, lunch, dinners, and bake simple things before you move up. You can’t make an omelette if you don’t even know how to make scrambled eggs, you know?

Boiled eggs are a simple breakfast and you can also use them to make appetizers, lunch, and add them to gravies. There are different ways to boil an egg from runny to solid all of these boiled eggs can be used for different recipes or eaten as is for a simple breakfast.

I think Scrambled eggs are simple, easy, filling, healthy, and a staple for many breakfast dishes. Scrambled eggs and bacon are one of my favorite breakfast! Maybe add a piece of toast and a cup of orange juice as well, yum!

Like boiled eggs, fried eggs are versatile. There are over hard, over medium, and over easy. All this means is the yolk is either cooked all the way, soft, or runny. They’re all good in my opinion! Perfect for breakfast and for on sandwiches or ramen as well.

White breakfast gravy is also known as sausage gravy. It’s so good, savory, hearty, and goes well with biscuits and eggs. Is it the healthiest, no, but it’s so good on a cold day! Definitely a comfort food.

Use some of the shredded chicken or leftover chicken to make a rich and delicious chicken salad. Eat it on bread, in a lettuce wrap, or with a fork. It’s so good!
